What is creativity?

What Is Creativity

Creativity is the ability to imagine or create something new and the other from the other. "New" doesn't mean completely new, but may develop the ideas that already exist. Those ideas are processed, combined, modified, and developed into a new style that has never thought about before. Oh! I remember interesting quotes from Albert Einstein:

"The secret to creativity is knowing how to hide your sources"

The quote may means that nothing new can be discovered by man, only God can do that. Basically, humans are creatures of imitator and always influenced by the surrounding environment. So is creativity, which is nothing but amalgamation and development of everything that already exists.

What Is Creativity

Believe it or not, everyone is born with the ability to be creative. However, several factors such as environment, rules, and habits tend to change our behavior to live too seriously and is always on the pressure. While creativity is something that requires space and time to be realized.

Common Characteristics of Creativity

What Is Creativity

Creative people are always open to changes in life. They are usually very curious and spend a lot of time just to try different ideas and possibilities. Creative people believe that "the world is half-finished", and the rest is their duty to discover and develop it, and failure is simply a process that must pass to reach the goal.

Creativity is a Process and Hard Work

certain situations sometimes work quite potent in transferring creative ideas into our imagination. But creativity is something that requires a process. Creative people continuously strive to boost the imagination through a series of experiments that sometimes tripped by many twists and turns, or what is known as a failure.

Creativity also requires time to be realized. Have you ever heard the phrase "The idea came suddenly"? Actually it is not the idea that briefly appeared without cause and reason. The idea comes from the experience of whatever we see, hear, feel and be raised again within a period which is unexpected. So, as if these ideas come and perch in mind all of a sudden.

For me, creativity is doing something new, something unique and something amazing out of something. Creativity is usually the reason why people became successful. They excel on their own unique way and for their being creative.

Creativity is the ability to sift through all the bs and come out on top - most especially when you've done so without losing your creative soul. Those painters who, in the olden days, created new things that nobody had seen before and didn't budge when they were laughed at...very creative. They're legends now!
