Brochure Design: Make Your Brochure A Better Marketing Tool

But actually the most influential in the success of a brochure in reaching its audience is the brochure design itself. You need some time to refine the design of the brochure, because if it is not going to attract the audience, then you will only waste time and budget. The following are five design tips to make your brochure appeal to the audiences.

5 Brochure Design Tips

1. Your brochure should contain only essentials information that relates to the product/service for which you are offering.

Brochure design should be attractive but should also contain key information as possible. Maybe your brochure design is interesting enough, but if it does not have the information you are offering to customers then surely this would make a loss. Make sure that your brochure design already contains the main information about your brand. For example, if your brand is about a fine dining restaurant, then you also have to include information about the location of the restaurant, Restaurant Menus or speciality, location/map, photos of the restaurant as well as other valuable information.

2. Your brochure design should match your brand identity

Your design should be in accordance with your brand identity. Brochure design that is not inline on brand would obscure the purpose of marketing strategy through the brochure itself. For example, your brochure is about women's fashion then you certainly would not choose cartoon design which is more suitable as a brochures on children's clothing. If your brand is about female fashion then you should choose soft colors such as pastel, girly or elegant.

3. You should not use different types of fonts on your brochure

You do not need a lot of fonts in designing a brochure. Using too many fonts will confuse your customers. Maybe you can choose two different fonts for headings and body copy. Although the initial objective range of fonts can attract consumer attention, but in the end it will be difficult for consumers, and they may no longer interested to read the information in your brochure.

4. Your brochure should contain clear and simple sentences

Remember the limitations of space in the brochure and that you should not use long sentences in it which will only make your brochure ignored by consumers. Simple sentences are the best thing in a brochure design. Remember that the audience is mostly visual readers so expand the use of pictures or interesting photos showing the hallmarks of your brand. We recommend that you use the original image with good resolution that seemed professional and attractive.

Polish your Brochure to Make a Great First Impression

Your brochure design should provide a good first impression and must be in accordance with your brand. If you are creating a brochure design that seemed luxurious but not so with your brand, the impression that will arise is that your products are not affordable to them. Should adjust the first impression of your brochure design to a brand or product that you sell.

As a business owner of course you must be careful in determining your marketing strategy. Professionally designed brochure design is clearly beneficial for your company and effectively to attract consumers. Be wise in choosing the services of professional designers so you do not waste time and budget in vain.
