A design project doesn't always come exactly as what expected by the designers. Occasionally, a project comes with many challenges which of course must be completed by the designers of any condition. One example: designers have to layout a brochure or magazine or whatever it is, but with content that is very minimal.
Along with the growing popularity of contemporary minimalist design, the minimal content of course is no big deal for designers. "make it minimalist !" That's roughly what would come to mind when dealing with such conditions.
here are some tips and tricks to make an elegant minimalist layout to overcome problems with a little content. check out these sample:
An example of the case: there is a brochure design job it something like the image below (Minimal content)
design in general: an attempt to satisfy every space with existing content.(It's time for you to leave this kind of style . :D)
Some alternative styles:
1. Image Cropping
Here I try to fill the screen with images with text content and title are placed above it, play a variety of blocks to create a nice contrast on the text, so text will still seem clear though is placed over the image.2. Based on theme layout
It means new themes in the layout. Simply add a flat background with a pretty good contrast, the layout will have its own theme, which automatically close the empty space in the layout.3. White space
Create an elegant emphasis on image and text with white space to give a more extensive layout. White space also serves to give the impression of the readers convenience.4. Title above the image
Putting the title on the images and other text on the outside can give a pretty interesting emphasis on the layout. But be careful when giving the contrast between the title and pictures. Try to remain clearly legible.5. Playing with Text Layout
This is a general tips and is widely used by designers in giving another touch to the reader.6. Be extreme
No need to be too rigid in design, even in designing something formal. Try applying an unique things, typography, extreme layout! Or even image manipulations though. But still pay attention to the delivery of messages to be conveyed.Do you have another tips or advice for modern minimalist design layout? Please share with us on the comment below. Cheers!~

Very interesting these different types of design, I of course give more importance to restrict the minimum image and text. Of course that depends on the message to convey.

ReplyI love the minimalist designs, we have slowly been changing over all of our websites to this style and have had great results
ReplyMinimalist design is one of the most significant design movements of the 20th century and early 21st century. It isn't the flashiest, or the most popular, but it arguably penetrated more fields than almost any other art or design trend.
