As a designer, we are always in demand to always be productive, both for a career in freelance or working with others. Usually the problem is time, although in theory it easy to manage your time, but in practice isn't very easy.
Fortunately now the technology has been very reasonable and very helpful for us. In this case we will use the application based on Adobe Air. Besides being lightweight and easy to install, there are so many choices. But certainly not all applications are free of charge, the majority are paying the application, although their quality is also in accordance with the price.
For that I want to share five free Adobe Air applications and can support your work as a graphic designer. I'm sure it will be useful because I also have tried and use this application in everyday activities.
1. Pixus
Web designers must take this application. With Pixus, measuring element on a website becomes so easy. No longer need to guess or look at the source files to get the right size.
I often use Pixus to measure the distance between elements on the website. That way I know whether to increase or decrease the distance from the design I had made earlier. Can also be used to make the planning layout. The point can measure anything as long as it is still in the range of 72 dpi and in units of pixels.

2. Color Browser
According to its name, this application is used to create a color pallete on a design. We can determine in advance what combinations of colors we use for our design projects later. From the results of this combination we will find the right mood.
There is also a function for storing a combination that we have made. To use the colors that we choose, we'll just have to see the color code, then paste it in Photoshop or other design programs.
In addition, we can train our sense of color by learning to make different combinations of colors in your spare time

3.Font Picker
Most of Graphic designers have a large collection of fonts, it has become a habit, we're used to install all the fonts that we can. Because we think, "Who knows one day be needed." Nothing is wrong, even good
I am sure most of us would choose the font we used, directly in Photoshop or Illustrator. The problem appears when we select the font. In Photoshop: it becomes a less pleasant experience because the fonts look less bulky, so that detail the font in the list are not clearly visible. While in Illustrator, we choose a font and then press the down arrow or above to view detail fonts one by one (what if we have hundreds or even thousands of fonts?) Really wasting time.
As with the Font Picker, the function directly at the core, not a lot of pushes.

4. Doit.im
Starting overwhelmed by too many projects that must be done in one time? Take it easy, with this application, all of our projects can be classified based on the entry deadlines and priorities. Thus we easily know which project should be updated or completed in one day.
Of course, other than as a useful function, I chose the appeal Doit.im Task Management application to another due to the attractive design! You should try it!

5.Focus Booster
For you who are often working while browsing the Internet, I guess you only do a little work time but browsing, right? Take it easy all must have experienced it, including me as well (sometimes the internet can anesthetize us!).
Now, with this application we can discipline ourselves more in the works. The interesting thing is that we can set our focus for a maximum time of 40 minutes, then the alarm will sound and allow time for 5 minutes (or more) to rest 40 minutes before the start of the next session. It is worth the try! I myself have felt the benefits!
